This would also happen if I walked away and the duet's screen went to sleep. I would have to detach and retouch sometimes twice the keyboard cover before the tablet recognized it. Every time I opened up the tablet and it resumed from sleep the tablet didn't know the keyboard cover was attached. Holding it in your hands, just a slight amount of downward Force on the keyboard would expose the connector pins. While I am considering buying another I do have a question:ĭo any of you have a Duet 3 and if so how strong is the connection between the tablet and the keyboard cover? The one I bought and returned was loose.
Best Buy associate asked me if I wanted to exchange it and I had to pause as I didn't really want to return it but given I'll be out of town on and off over the rest of the month I didn't want a another defective unit hanging over me. For the tablet was great given the price, I had to return it. Recently I purchased (on sale at Best Buy) a Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3 (the recent generation that needs an unobtainable USI 2.0 stylus).
